all Bucky wanted to do was get some more tea and now this. Thanks a lot, Sam. You had to fuckin’ tell him, you ass.

Aggressively Progressive Steve Rogers is so what I’m  here for.

STeve would unleash and be all “DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WHOOPING COUGH SUCKS?! DO YOU?! DO YOU REALLY?! ARE YOU FUCKIN’ STUPID?! BUCKY, TELL THEM HOW I BROKE TWO RIBS! TELL THEM!”

Omg, new headcanon, Beleaguered Bucky Barnes being grabbed by the shoulders and practically lifted into camera view by Steve shouting about how Bucky needs to confirm some terrible illness because no one else is alive form that time to corroborate any of Steve’s claims.  Bucky shyly telling the reporters that yes, Steve did indeed have that thing adn yeah it is dangerous and Steve jumping back into frame like “I told you!  I TOLD YOU IT SUCKED SHUT UP JENNY MCCARTHY!”

“AND YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE?! POLIO!”

“Steve you never had fucking polio-”

“YEA BUT IT STILL SUCKED! KNOW WHAT STOPPED IT?! VACCINES!”

“Oh my God, Steve.”

“I DIDN’T EVNENKNOW WHAT THAT SHOT WOULD DO TO ME BUT I TOOK IT!”

“Steve, that’s… That’s not really a good argument.”

“I DON’T CARE FOX NEWS NEEDS TO STOP USING MY IMAGE!”

“Steve, doll, calm down.”

“I VOTED FOR OBAMA!”

I love everything about this post

This father consoling his baby son at the doctor’s office is SO CUTE 😍😍😍

Awwwww😂😂😂

This father is doing SO much more than consoling his infant son …

• this father is showing up as a pillar of safety; he’s told his son he acknowledges and believes in the boy’s strength.

• the father is completely present and accepting of his son’s story and helps him tell it. When the son recognizes that his father was fully present and heard the story of his experience of pain, the boy calms completely.

This piece of video will now be at the very top of my teaching tools when training parents and caretakers to work with shock and trauma in infants. It’s one of the finest examples of exemplary parenting I have ever seen in my 35-year healing career. ❤️

Here are some basics on herd immunity, and here is some more technical research if you’re interested in the details!

If you’ve ever heard my rants about vaccination, you know it’s a major topic with me. Because hey, I’m one of these immunosuppressed people this comic talks about, so it’s a bit of a sensitive subject. (“Oh, I’m sorry, you don’t like getting vaccinated? I don’t like having three month long respiratory infections because you gave me the freaking flu, but I guess you don’t care about that”)

Essentially, Ellen and her wonderful character Katherine have just said it better than I ever could—and using Shaun of the Dead references, too!!! It’s all about herd immunity—getting vaccinated isn’t just about your own health, it’s about the health—and non-zombification—of the entire human race.

Awesome explanation.

I find it oddly flattering that the Anti-Vaccination crowd thinks that I— an actual Autistic— am some kind of monster that was created in a lab. There’s a ’50s B-movie in this, is what I’m getting at.

‘My God, Doctor! It’s alive! What does it want with us?’

*the creature lumbers forward, inciting obligatory screams*

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT TRAAAAAAAIIIIIIIINSSSS
