So… I totally forgot to post this

Three months ago.

This was my submission for the brooklynzine a few months back, which some of you may have seen already. Working with the other artists, and the fabulous brofisting as the organizer, was truly one of the best collaborative art experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone was so supportive and helpful, and the zine came out looking terrific. Hopefully I get to work with those artists again sooner rather than later. Thank you guys so much for letting me be involved in such a cool project.

So I couldn’t help but do this. Someone who is better than me at anatomy (& guns & everything) feel free to draw a better version. This just needs to exist. Bucky in nothing but a smile and a Tommy gun.
The speech bubbles are directly from Man Out Of Time.
In the comic Steve was actually drawing Peggy, or at least he was by the time he started an argument about how Captain America was nothing special. This whole group of guys was ready to deck Steve for it and Bucky talked their way out of it.

Y’know what amuses me about all of these kinds of scenes? When Steve is wearing that uniform in the film, he’s playing Captain Showreel. He’s playing the legend these kids grew up with. He’s seen what it does to Coulson. He knows lower-down operatives would probably be of a similar mindset. So he treats them like the kids who used to chase him for autographs.

They see the suit. They don’t see the irate, PTSD-suffering 25 year old behind it.

Let me tell you guys a little story of what happened at the movie theater in South Korea. That Bucky’s line in the first gif “I was gonna ask…” was subtitled as “Shall we do the thing?” (우리 그거 할래?) Some people in the theater were like ‘Wait, do THE THING? With a couch cushion on the floor????? So they are…. ????????’ and I was like, 

Okay, the translator is definitely a Stucky shipper lol

iamshadow21 and I are looking at working on a fic/art collaboration for Captain America: Man Out Of Time comic so I was trying to get a hang of sketching Steve and Bucky similarish to how they are drawn. Going to have to go with my versions of them anyway so this will do.

I love this comic. I just want to redraw every big of Bucky from the first part. He’s such a little shit, I love him. Massive Steve pouting and sketching away is also one of my favourite bits. Anyway look out for a few more pages to come when I can upload them. and some that are more than just copies of the comic poses too.

If you haven’t read Man Out Of Time by Waid/Molina/Kesel then you really should. It’s fantastic. Warning for all the sad feels though as Cap is mourning Bucky and not taking it too well.
