1st is Steve, Bucky and Peggy during the war and the 2nd is the three of them in Avengers timeline before the battle of New York. Coulson had some input in the costumes. Buck is not happy AT ALL.

I have been waiting for this one to go live for a while. I adore the fic and want so much more in this universe. Shadow very patiently waited for me to finish these artworks before posting. I have more I want to do but health and other deadlines are getting in the way so when I do get around to them they’ll be added to the series on AO3 and posted here.

My not-a-bang fic is live! I’ve been working on this one since January, and kath_ballantyne made me gorgeous art to go with it! If you like super soldier Peggy punching Hydra in the face and banging Steve like a barn door, this is the fic for you!

Fear not about potential Steve/Bucky being underage. This is the Brubaker run. Bucky is sixteen in March of 1941, and in August of that year, he meets Steve for the first time at Camp Lehigh. The dance hall in Winter Kills is Christmas 1944. He’s nineteen; nearly twenty. Steve is twenty-four. If gay sex was legal where they were and Steve wasn’t his C.O., it’d be perfectly fine. I studied these particular comics A LOT in the last few weeks to help with my marvel bang story. If you want to know the particular issues, there’s Winter Kills, obviously, but there’s also Captain America 012 (The Winter Soldier Part 4) and Captain America & Bucky 620 (which has Bucky’s view of 012’s events).

Fun note: Wal-Mart now carries Marvel knee high socks, and in addition to the shield, Cap’s has little wings.

Even MORE fun fact, I bought a pair and snipped the wings off to use them on a hat.

(Tony would totally want to do all kinds of tests on Steve’s headwings. He would also get very very angry at the lack of logical physics surrounding their ability to make Steve fly.)

Mr. Badge, I have a question. What are your thoughts on Phil/Steve as a ship? Because I found myself thinking about that ship, and it somehow makes me happy? I don’t appreciate when unexpected ships make me happy, but I’m still happy.

LOL, if it makes you happy, I say ship it. The whole point of fandom is we do it because we enjoy it. 

I think Phil/Steve has to be approached somewhat carefully because there’s a weird power imbalance there – I’m not sure who’s actually higher in the chain of command, but Coulson also has an idealized version of Steve Rogers in his head that probably doesn’t correspond super-closely with reality. So either you have to deal with that in direct terms, or you have to discuss them getting to know one another better so that we know Coulson’s not in a relationship with the comic book character in his head, and Steve’s not taking advantage of the adulation of a fan. Unless you’re into writing that kind of darkness, in which case knock yourself out, I don’t judge. 

But sure, I think it’s a perfectly valid ship with some interesting aspects to it, especially now that Coulson is heading SHIELD. (Or is he? IDK, I haven’t seen the last like, half dozen episodes, I need to catch up.) 

If anon wants a rec of a great treatment of this ship, I can highly recommend Ask Galatea by thingswithwings. Sweet, gentle service submission and fantasy fulfillment that just leaves you wanting more.

honestly i was just planning on doing this with steve and bucky but then i was like “let’s be serious they would both get lost and sam would be dragged along somehow and natasha would have to bail them out” so then this happened

[MY ART]  More stevebuckynat.  My ot3.  So it’s going to be 2 years between cap 2 and cap 3, both in the real world and the movie timeline.  Where was Bucky hiding (or rather why…)

and because my handwriting is terrible, the bottom thought bubbles say: “I mean I did shoot both my exes…AWKWARD.  Even thought it was Hydra that made me do it.  I’d never choose to, didn’t know if you’d understand that… This is still too awkward.  I want to hide for 2 more years…”
