I think this is really important, as are the things coming out from veterans of conflict who fought fascism and Nazis on the front line, whether in war or in their communities. We need to look to the elders among us as to how to deal with this present. Whether those elders are black, Hispanic, queer, Jewish, Roma, migrant, disabled, Native/First Nations, white, Asian, or something different entirely or any combination of intersectionality of identities – these people have fought this kind of hatred before. They have knowledge. They have understanding. They have tools that they can give us, and they have the strength and resilience that comes from surviving terrible circumstances.

Autism Speaks is accepting support from Soldiers of Odin, a white supremacist vigilante group, and happily featuring their group portrait on their website asking for $ to fund their shitty autistic-abusing organisation. As A$ are flat-out eugenicists and the organisation’s leadership is in bed with Trump, I for one am very unfucking surprised that they’re chill with their money-making events being full of actual Nazis. So much for their new ‘progressive’ mission statement. Do not trust or support A$.

so. if two people who wrote and illustrated a Famous Harry Potter Fanfiction, if those two people wanted to auction off a new chapter of that Famous Harry Potter Fanfiction and give the proceeds to a progressive charity of the winner’s choice, how would – what would the best way to go about that be? I mean, would we literally put it on ebay? What’s the procedure? One of those two people REALLY wants to draw an illustration or two of a couple of harry potter characters making out while stepping on a fascist, and would love to be able to do so AND send money to the ACLU.
