I finally got Steeeb’s robo!back and Bucky’s robo!sidebutt looking pretty good. YAY!!! o/ Still gotta give that panel an actual background tho. Uuuuuhg, backgrounds. *grumpface* I quite literally took everything I struggle with as an artist (buildings, robots, armor, guns) and stuck it all into one comic. WHY?!! *cries* Also, for some reason, Bucky’s futuristic HYDRA rifle ended up looking like a keytar and I can’t stop laughing. I should start an AU of this AU where Steve and Bucky are in an 80s new wave band called The Winter Cyborgs. X’D

*collapses* Okay, I think I finally got that damn armor to look alright from the back. Which means I had to fix the shoulder piece on a previously finished panel. Which I will also have to fix when I do the clean-up on page #1 for WS-01’s lovely robo!back (middle pic, far left).

Robo!STEEEB is feeling a little unsure of himself after that glitch from the last teaser panel. A glitch that was triggered by what he thought sounded like muffled / distant screams.
I decided it might be neat if their H.U.D.s displayed sound waves anytime they spoke out loud. I dunno how accurate my sound waves are, but I tried.

ASDFGHKL!!! I mentioned wanting to add a few animated elements to my Winter Cyborgs comic, so I did a little animation test and HOLY JEEBUS LOOK HOW RAD THIS TURNED OUT!!! It’s a bit spoilery, but I’m just too flippin’ excited about it not to share!!! (I used a ref photo for the Cyclone, of course, and I seriously don’t understand why it had so many signs on it, and so close together too…wth? Also, I never want to draw a roller coaster again.)
Sooooo, sad!RoboHipsters drawing #3 is now part of a comic (as previously mentioned in this post). This is what I have so far for page #1.I want most of the panels to have H.U.D.s, but I’ve never designed a H.U.D. before, so that should be interesting.
Man, if you would’ve told me a few months ago that I’d be drawing sci-fi and cyborgs in 2015, I would have called you a dirty liar! I dunno what’s going on with me. I guess my brain just really wants to design stuff, cuz I’m actually having fun drawing that armor (a task that would have crippled me with fear not so long ago). I am proud of dem robo!feet and dat sexy robo!back. *u*
