And I’m sorry this took me so long to finish. Making a comic about two people doing nothing besides chatting in a tiny room was more challenging than I expected. *whines* COMICS ARE HARD.

Neither of them commented on the picture of them which has now gone viral. When, after the verdict, Mr. Rogers leaped the gate to tug Mr. Barnes down into a kiss, a member of the audience took a photograph of the moment and uploaded it to twitter. The original tweet was swiftly deleted, but copies of the picture continue to circulate and seem unlikely to disappear from the internet. Some people are already calling the picture “a disgrace” and demanding that indecency charges be levied, but others are far happier.
Done for radialarch and nuitdenovembre’s courtroom drama, United States v. Barnes, 617 U.S. 143 (2015). This story is fantastic — the story itself is styled to resemble courtroom transcripts, text messages, news articles, and twitter feeds revolving around the trial of Bucky Barnes for crimes against humanity as the Winter Soldier. radialarch mentioned that it would be awesome if someone tried to do a courtroom sketch of one of the scenes. It wasn’t until I was nearly finished that I realized I should have done the lineart using a marker and pencil brush to make it look more like an authentic courtroom sketch – I’m still very rusty at this whole art thing. You should have seen the dust on my Wacom 😦
Gah I wish this could be better. It doesn’t do the fic justice. Please go read it!

I think I may end up having to draw another picture of Steve holding Robbie once he’s doing better and with them both smiling because this one makes me sad.
I wish I could work out how to draw proper shadows though.

My girl iamshadow21 wrote A Little Bit Of You, A Little Piece Of Me. In the fic there are clones of Steve and Bucky and I found when I was reading it I wasn’t ever sure which one to be picturing so I have drawn them with their names.

Summary:
“Who is this?” he asks, torn between frustration and something like fear.
“There’s a warehouse on the bank of the Anacostia river,” a voice whispers. “In exactly thirty minutes, it’ll go up in flames. Coordinates to follow. Bring a large car or a van, something that can seat multiple civilians. Come alone.”
The line goes dead, and his phone buzzes a second later with a text. It’s an address.

- Inspired by Bucky finds the tiny Steves by cassandrexx.
Based on this Tumblr post (specifically on the drabble by cassandrexx and the head canon by misspryss). Basically, there’s the twelve tiny Steves trope that has had some gorgeous fic and fanart done for it (most recently Raibean’s 12 days of Steve), and this Tumblr post thew out the idea that rather than being mini-Supersoldiers, clones of Steve would turn out more like his re-Rebirth self, ie. tiny, sick and feisty.
