This was something that took FOREVER to finish for a variety of reasons, which I’m pretty disappointed in, but HEY! I finally finished it! So that’s something. And it’s Bucky coming home to Steve. Nothing new.
It was mostly just an experiment in inking. Still a lot to learn, especially in regard to line weight, as well as what I should use for whites on the paper I draw on (acrylic paint, which is what I wanted to use, messes up the paper too much, unfortunately), but I definitely learned a LOT. The first few pages have changed a lot since I first started inking, I went back and played with them a lot more the more comfortable I became.
Also I know the place doesn’t look like Steve’s place shown in The Winter Soldier, just pretend he moved somewhere else after it got all effed up or something IDK. I don’t know why I swapped it but eh.
Also I apologize if the text is hard to read, I had a MASSIVE brain-fart on that, for some reason.

Captain America
So I watched Agent Carter and suddenly I wish for a lot of Steve and Peggy things. Steve doing his own thing as Captain America and Peggy becoming a hell of a spy and Steve just being SO DANG PROUD of his gal and just.
Yeah.
And this looks like sexy times are about to happen (which is possible) but I was seriously just picturing him rubbing her feet and legs as she goes on about her day and all the badass things she did and yep.
There was a lot more to this but I’m having issues drawing feet and I’m super tired. Man, I had a lot of fun drawing Peggy’s hair, though.

I haven’t posted in a long while and I apologize for that, so here’s a bit of a preview of the comic sort of thing I’ve been picking away at. It’s slow going and I’m disappointed in myself with how long it’s taking (a mixture of honestly being busy and procrastination, really), but! I’m still proud of the progress I’ve made thus far. It’s been quite the learning experience and I can already see quite a change just a few pages in.

This WAS a holiday card I was gonna send out to folks this year, but due to some money issues (and now some oral surgery I need to have done before things get worse) I don’t really have the funds or time to get them printed and sent out… So! Just gonna post it up here instead. A little card inspired by a similar one I came across, I just tossed those folks into the mix.

Bucky waking up from nightmares or crumbling under the stress of all that’s happened to him/all he’s done and Steve being there to comfort him is a weakness of mine, even though seeing Bucky that way hurts my heart. But at least he has Steve, and you know Steve would comfort Bucky however he could till he calmed down.

I had this all colored and looking nice and then the file corrupted and now I’m upset. So here’s just the lineart because IDK if I’ll ever wanna bother trying to color it again.
I think I made Steve too tall… Eeeeeeeeeh.

So, Cara has these punk versions of various characters, some of which are Marvel ones, and I’ve always found them to be so fun… After she drew one of Bucky, I just got hit with the urge to draw him and Steve, and so I did. But not just because I just felt like doodling them up.
Cara is a super huge sweetheart and she’s had a craaazy year, and I just really, really wanted to draw something for her as a thank you for being so insanely fabulous. I remember way back when we actually did a collab together (SO FUN, REMEMBER THAT, CARA?) and since then she’s been such an enormous inspiration to me and I always love looking at her art; there’s always such vibrancy to it. I strive for that same life to be shown within my own illustrations.

Kept saying I was gonna draw these two idiots being cute so I did. Random smooches and cuddles with shirts going up cuz why not and I wish I had used references on them buuut eh oh well.
Basically just some of a handful of doodles I’ve done on my Samsung Galaxy Note that I purchased recently. It’s so weird drawing on it and has some annoying quirks but they’re workable. Among other things. But it’s fun.

I could seriously sit here and pick at this forever but I’m cutting myself off. Just having some fun with a different shading style and junk IDK. Pre-serum Steve patching up Bucky and not looking all too pleased about it. Bucky, however, doesn’t seem to care.
