They are finished!! They are so stunning, they will arrive at my place in about a week!!
FISHIES!
first thought was “HOLY SHIT PUT THE FISHY BACK IN THE WATER IT CAN’T BREATHE”
second thought was “oh I guess I’m a dumbass then”
third to eighth thoughts were concerned with how they were made
Needle-felting anot other stuff, looks like.

Made a Bucky Bear for a birthday present.
That…. is a lot of yarn. For context, those floor looms in the middle and right of frame are probably about the height of a person standing.
TdF Day 6 progress: Finished the first half of “Fairy Flutter” and started the second. Would like to get this spun up before I go to my spinning guild tomorrow so I can ply it there.
Gorgeous. Looks like maybe an Ashford Traditional wheel, double drive single pedal? Could be wrong, but it looks a lot like our Traddy from that angle.
I am hoping to needle felt a set of Avengers. Here is my progress on the first, Iron Man. I’ve got the general shape down in core wool & am starting on the colouring & details.
I think I’m going to go with MCU battle armour. Shame, because I wanted purple Hawkeye.
I’ll do the first 6 probably & hope to make Sam & Bucky, possibly also Coulson & Fury. I’d love to also draw the Avengers in every day clothes, particularly Bruce & Tony because you can’t seem them.
Going to try & work on some more dynamic poses than in the drawing but it’s hard to get them felted hard enough to support those poses.
Excuse my crappy writing & the facts that when listing the colours I used ‘flesh’ to refer to white skin & ‘brown’ for Sam but it is what the colour of fibre is called at the shop where I buy it.
Yvonne’s Workshop via MrXStitch.
I almost scrolled right by this, thinking it was just a picture of a real live snail. Biggest double-take ever!
I love the snowy owl, and that tortoise is ridiculously cute ❤
Wow these are gorgeous!
I wish I was as skilled with needle felting. I’m sure I COULD get better if I tried, but I stab myself an awful lot.

98g $35 (333m)My cat needs a lump removed so I’m selling some handspun.
This is a Wool/Bamboo/Firestar blend from Hilltop Cloud. It’s a range of soft blues and pinks with the shimmer of glitter in there too.
50% Merino/25% Shetland/12.5% Bamboo/12.5% Firestar
Colourway Catherine Howard from Hilltop Cloud
This averages out to an 4ply (sock/fingering weight) and is made up of two singles. It’s quite well balanced and knits up in to a great fabric. It’s definitely soft enough to have against your skin. I have really sensitive skin and have no problems with this. I don’t think it’s spun tight enough for hard wearing socks but I haven’t had much experience with sock yarn. Would be great for mitts, hats, scarves, shawls etc. (You can knit a decent shawl size with this yardage Ravelry Patterns)
It’s 98g/3.4oz and 333m/364yards
$35 plus postage. Message me if you’re interested

I’ll edit this to add links to the other yarns for sale once I’ve posted them
I haven’t had the energy to take professional looking photos but if you want more detailed ones I can try.
O’Reilly goes in for his lumpectomy tomorrow. The vet who saw us on Monday thinks it might be a calcified cyst (she tried to put two different needles in it for a sample and there was no give whatsoever, she gave up). It’s day surgery, so it’s not as expensive as it could be, but we are still living on a fixed pension, and we did just drop nearly a grand on our car at the beginning of the month. Any sale will help us meet out bills in time and pay for groceries.

This is a Merino/Silk blend from Spun Out. The Merino is black with blue, white and purple silk.
This averages out to an 8-10ply (DK/Worsted) and is made up of three singles. It’s quite well balanced and knits up in to a great fabric. For some reason the fabric feels a bit like cotton and would make great mitts, hats or cowls. It’s definitely soft enough to have against your skin. I have really sensitive skin and have no problems with this.
It’s 102g/3.5oz and 108m/118yards

This is my partner’s stuff, she spins some beautiful yarns. Cat’s vet appointment is on Monday, literally have no idea what it’s going to cost, and this is on the back of about a grand’s worth of car repair already this month. We’re both on disability pension, so we live on the bread line anyway, and these extra expenses have eaten away the little we had put aside already. If you like yarn, and want to help us out, buy it if you want it, or just reblog – someone might see it who does want to buy it. 🙂
