I am proud to announce that I have finally finished my (second) final project! Last year I made a comic because I was studying comic, but now I finished 11 illustrations (12 if you count the back of the cards) for my illustration studies.

These are tarot cards inspired by classic fairy tales and legends such as Cinderella, Rapunzel or the tale of the bamboo cutter.

I will eventually finish the 11 remaining cards but for the time being I’d like to focus on less draining projects, one of which is another deck!

Hey, I know I have followers who like Overwatch, so you should check this out! Fandom decks are niche things that often have limited releases and sell out quickly, so don’t miss out.

My TBT post of the original deck made me nostalgic so I treated myself to the 25th Anniversary edition. LOVE everything about this but especially dig that they added this fab bag, the perfect size for the cards.

Hey y’all my Internet friend Lee made a gorgeous fabric art Tarot deck of ocean creatures and you should definitely buy one! It’s unbelievably gorgeous. (I mean, look at that Magician, JUST LOOK AT IT.) The art is already finished and the Kickstarter is just funding the printing of the decks.

I’ve been following the development of this deck card by card, and it’s gloriously beautiful, in addition to being the first fabric deck I’ve come across since the Enchanted Tarot (another gorgeous deck that uses the texture of fabric to bring the tarot to life).

Will there be a full deck?
 -100% yes. I’ve found a publisher, more details soon!

When will it be released?
 -No exact date yet, sadly. Designing 78 cards takes time, but I’m working as fast as I can!

Will there be an accompanying book?
-Most likely there will be.

Sorry to everyone interested that I can’t give more specific answers yet! I promise I’ll post more info when I have things solidly in place. Progress is slow at the moment because I can only work on these cards in my spare time, but that will change in the upcoming months.

After work today, I ended up at Five Below with my friend Kay. We were looking around for a last minute Halloween costume for her and I happened to spot a Tarot deck…. A Tarot deck for $5.00! It is called Secrets Of Tarot by Amanda Hall. I know how popular my post about the $3.99 Tarot deck from Spirit Halloween was so I wanted to share this one as well. This deck comes with a full-color wire-bound guidebook and a 78 card deck. The cardstock is on the thin side but for the price, I do not mind it at all. The card images look digitally aged, the backs are beautiful and each card has a little phrase on the bottom. I think this Tarot kit is a fabulous deal for those who are looking for a deck on a budget, someone wanting to buy their first deck, a second or spare deck. A deck to gift to someone or a deck to use for artwork. This is also would make the perfect halloween/samhain gift.
