I know they don’t mean it to look like Steve Rogers was considering sex work to make ends meet…

[From Captain America #121, 1970.]

I kept bringing up the time that the Captain America story was retold in such a way as to make it look like Erskine wanted him for kinky sex, and finally I found it again. So here it is, you guys, that time Erskine just walked up to a down-on-his-luck twink on a streetcorner at night and asked him to participate in a “strange experiment”.

Oh, early comics. So much sketchy.

Captain Marvel – some assembly required

People seemed to like the Hawkguy stained glass, so here is another piece with the wonderful Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel! Inspired by the powerful art of Jamie McKelvie that truly captured the strength and determination of one of my favorite heroes.

It will also be hanging at Fantastic Comics 😀

(The mesh behind it on the photos is a bug net I cannot remove from my windows… Living in grad housing has its advantages and inconveniences – sigh.)

The piece is 20 inches x 30 inches; 300$ worth of glass, 8$ worth of solder and 5$ worth of band-aids

Oh. My. God.

I love this so much.

OHMYGOD SO PRETTY!

we are all wonderful
a series that aims to redesign wonder woman as women from all around the world; as every woman there is out there.

part i: hijabi wonder woman.

prints avaliable for sale at storenvy!

THIS DESIGN IS SO BEAUTIFUL OH MY GOD

I need this so that I can put it on my main folder for nursing school.

I really like this, like really really, but it still bugs me every time I see it because it has 2 Ls behind Wonder Woman for the “ful” part of “wonderful”

Unless that’s the point? Is it meant to be suggesting that we’re all full of wonder?
