I love that super fuckin dramatic zoom in shot on bucky tho, like. if this was a cartoon, the shadows would’ve come in, the animation style would’ve changed slightly, the background music would’ve built ominously.
and then it all would’ve stopped when he asked clint the same question and clint was a little shithead about it.
You go to see the new Avengers movie in theaters. You thought you remembered seeing Hawkeye in promotional pictures, but he wasn’t on the posters. You think it’s an oversight, but when you watch the movie he doesn’t show up either. You feel cheated, and go back to watch the old movies that he was in, only to find that somehow he’s not in them either. Your head hurts, you try to find your collection of hawkeye comics, only to find that they’re gone. You look up hawkeye on the internet and there are no search results. You’re starting to wonder if he ever existed in the first place, or if you just imagined him. You no longer even remember who you were just thinking about. Was it Captain America? He’s been pretty popular lately, it must have been him after all.
