We have a gas station that’s also a sushi bar here in town.
Not, like, a sushi restaurant near a gas station, I need you to understand, or even a sushi restaurant physically attached to a gas station.
I mean that the gas station convenience store is also the sushi restaurant. The counter where you pay for your fuel is the same one where you pay for your meal. There’s a little cluster of dine-in tables just past the racks full of antifreeze and windshield wiper fluid.
I have never in my life actually seen anyone purchase the sushi, but it’s been operating like that for nearly a decade, so surely someone must be.
Any chance this is yet another mafia front?
There is a newsagent/sushi bar in the Blue Mountains here in Australia.
